Paddling pools are a great way to keep children entertained during the summer.

Hard plastic pools

The advantage of plastic kiddie pools is that they require virtually no setup. Once you place the pool on the ground, right side up, it's ready to be filled with water. It doesn't get much easier than that.

Plastic pools are usually low to the ground and not deep. This makes them an ideal option for small children. They are easy to get in and out of, and the lack of depth helps with safety.

The downside to these hard plastic pools is that they are not very flexible. Any bending can permanently bend or break the material. This can make them very difficult to transport or store unless you plan on simply throwing them away at the end of the season.

Inflatable children's pools

Inflatable pools come in a variety of styles. The more you spend on an inflatable pool, the more features you will get. Larger sizes may come with additional visual features designed to be visually appealing to children.

Since inflatable pools can be folded when not inflated, they take up very little space. When they are fully deflated and deflated, they are very easy to store and transport.

The downside to inflatable pools is that they take a while to set up. You have to inflate them every time you want to use the pool. Depending on whether you have a pump or need to inflate it manually, the pool can take up to 20 minutes to inflate adequately.
