The most important argument in favor of buying such a device is their positive effect on the viewing angle. Due to the curvature of the screen, the viewer gets the feeling that the television world is wrapped around them. A little more intrusion of the image into the peripheral vision enhances this effect and seems to draw the person looking at the TV screen deeper.

Enhanced sense of depth

One of the first reactions viewers have when watching a curved TV is the feeling that they are watching a 3D image, even though the actual display may only be 2D. This is because the curvature of the screen enhances the human visual perception of depth.
