Wet shaving method - hysteresis effect.

When a wet shaver has multiple heads, this causes a so-called hysteresis effect. This means that when the first head of the shaver comes into contact with the hair, in addition to simply cutting it, it also pulls it slightly out of the skin, while its successor head cuts the hair that is already standing out.

The working principle of an electric shaver

An electric razor has two parts for cutting hair. A thin, perforated metal blade, and a sub-cutter - a set of small blades that move at high speed in both directions. Small, perforated holes that are soft on one side and sharp on the other (the inner side) and operate like a second blade.

In addition, the first layer of an electric razor causes a wavy effect on the skin, pulling the skin further away from the hair follicle and exposing the hair more into space. By cutting it, you get an effect similar to a mechanical razor - the hair is cut deeper, not on the surface.

Both systems use a layer that comes into contact with the skin while the sub-cutter moves behind it. The main difference is in the direction of movement of the sub-cutter.
