How to care for gas and electric stoves - recommendations
It doesn't matter if you have an electric stove or just an induction hob . In both cases, they need care. How to clean gas stoves depends on the material, and in today's article we will tell you which products are most effective for cleaning them and what can be used to clean different surfaces.
Cleaning an induction cooker
First, make sure the surface is cold before you start cleaning. Put on rubber gloves, spray the cleaner on the surface, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe it with a damp sponge or cloth, and finally wipe it with a dry cloth.
Induction stove cleaners can be found in the mid-range price range. Typically, such cleaners are produced by home appliance manufacturers themselves, and their main advantage is that cleaning takes less time and effort.

The composition of glass cleaning products varies greatly, so the packaging should indicate exactly what it is intended for.
Please note:
You cannot clean the induction hob panel until the hob has completely cooled down . You can easily burn your hand on the heated surface or inhale the vaporized "chemistry".
After cleaning the stovetop, do not use the same sponge for dishes. It may leave behind harmful substances that are dangerous to human health.

Please note - the surface of an induction cooker cannot be scratched with knives, sharp blades, metal mesh sponges, etc.
Do not use detergents that are not intended for glass surfaces.
How to clean enamel- surfaced gas stoves
Enamel, no matter how much it is improved, is still the most unstable coating. Unfortunately, over time, micro-cracks appear on it. At the same time, it is the most unpretentious material in terms of the choice of detergents.
The stove can be cleaned with chlorine, alkali, or acid, but under no circumstances should these substances be mixed together, as they will eventually produce fumes that are hazardous to human health.
There are many folk methods, the most effective of which is this option: apply a mixture of 50 ml of ordinary hydrogen peroxide, 5 ml of liquid soap, and 100 g of baking soda evenly to the surface and leave for a few minutes. After a while, wipe it off with a slightly damp cloth and you will see the result for yourself.
How to clean stove grates
If your stove has removable grates, they can be washed in the dishwasher - just add a little more detergent, and don't forget to scrub the silicone and rubber parts before washing. This method is suitable for steel and enamel grates, but not for cast iron.

If you don't have a dishwasher , try another method: place the nets in a deep baking dish, fill it with water, and place over low heat for 20-30 minutes. This will soften most of the dirt, and you can remove the rest mechanically. You can also simply soak them in water, but heating them is more effective.
With folk methods, we can use all cleaning products. Among them: vinegar with soda, just soda, liquid soap, a mixture of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide, and also dry mustard powder.
