Aiming to bring high-quality components and clean design to the Chinese home appliance market, the dynamic duo has teamed up to produce the new ALPHA washing machine.

Porsche Design X Panasonic ALPHA washing machine

The washing machine will focus on the growing consumer demand for functionality, high quality and innovative design , using a brushed stainless steel housing produced by injection molding - in addition to an attractive TFT touch display that reflects Porsche Design's vision for in-car instrumentation.

To address the traditional problem of mold buildup and unpleasant odors, the design team implemented a loading opening that automatically opens at the end of the cycle, ensuring natural airflow throughout the appliance.
