Recommendations for selecting hoods and the best models

We have compiled a rating that includes a list of the best hoods , and the descriptions include built-in hoods , as well as dome, standard, and hanging types.

When choosing a hood, you should pay attention not only to its design and dimensions, but also to many technical parameters. The efficiency and comfortable operation of a particular model depends on the device - in other words, you just have to be satisfied with the right purchase.

Bosch DFS 067 K50

German technology hood with a standard size of 60 cm. This model is not cheap, but in terms of comfort, you may not even find better competing hoods on the market.

The DFS is controlled using a touch panel, inside of which there is a fairly quiet motor that produces no more than 40 dB at the first stage, and 66 at the maximum (4 operating modes in total).

The capacity of 700 m³/h is enough for a kitchen of up to 20 m². The model is equipped with LED lighting, smooth on/off and the ability to adjust the brightness intensity, which is considered a big plus.

Additional features:

Automatic selection of modes depends on the intensity of evaporation from the stove;
After 6 minutes, it independently switches from intensive mode to a more economical one (a full cycle of changing the total volume of air in the room);
The remaining charge is 10 minutes - even after the system is turned off, the device continues to work for 10 minutes for more effective cleaning;
The Bosch hood can operate in both recirculation mode and complete air extraction.

Siemens LI 67SA530 IX

A pretty decent hood from Siemens , but at a lower price. The width of the device is 60 cm, however, in terms of performance, it shows the best result - 740 m³/h.

It works louder than the Bosch (43-68 dB) and the backlight is presented without effects. In addition, the manual control does not allow the implementation of some additional functions, but the automatic shutdown of the intensive mode is preserved.

Hansa OKS 6726 IH

This inclined model belongs to the middle price category, as you can buy it at a very reasonable price. The productivity is 620 m³/h, with a motor power of only 160 W.

Hansa can operate in four different modes, but there is no intensive mode among them. This hood takes third place in our rating only because of its cost, which does not correspond to its modest functionality (only a timer and a filter clogging indicator).
