Essential pastry accessories
These are the baking accessories you absolutely need in your kitchen, and you'll use them more often than you think. Whether you're baking a cake or whipping cream, make sure you have these baking accessories on hand before you get started.

1. Measuring cups (liquid and dry) and spoons
Baking is all about precision, so a full set of measuring cups and spoons is essential. You'll need dry and wet measuring cups to accurately measure all of your ingredients. It's a good idea to have 2- and 4-cup measuring cups in your cupboard.
2. Wooden spoon(s)
Wooden spoons are so sturdy that they are perfect for all kinds of stirring. You can use them with even the thickest, hardest doughs.
3. Rubber spatula
You'll use a rubber spatula more often than you think. These baking tools are perfect for scooping batter onto baking sheets. They're also great for mixing wet and dry ingredients. Keep in mind that silicone spatulas can withstand high heat better than rubber ones.
4. Metal Turner
When transferring cakes out of the oven to a cooling rack or serving a cake from a 9x13 pan, there's no better accessory than a metal spatula. Having a thin metal blade will be especially handy, and it's flexible enough to slide easily under anything.
5. Pastry brush
It can be used to grease a pan before pouring cake batter, to brush melted butter or egg onto dough, etc.

6. Asatqvefi
You can use a wire whisk. In particular, it is one of the best ways to thoroughly mix wet and dry ingredients.
7. Kitchen scissors
They can be useful in many ways, including cutting parchment paper, fitting it to a pan, or even opening packages and containers.
8. Fine mesh sieve
For bakers, it is probably most useful for sifting dry ingredients or adding powdered sugar. This baking tool also comes in handy for removing seeds from wet ingredient sauces.
9. Rectangular baking pan
A regular baking pan (13x9x2 inches) is a must-have. You can use it for a variety of cakes, brownies, cookies - and pies.
10. Round cake pan
Round cake pans come in 8-inch and 9-inch diameters, but either size will work with most layer cake recipes—just make sure you have two pans of the same size.
