How to extend the life cycle of your dishwasher!
A dishwasher is a household appliance designed to clean and rinse dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen utensils. It simplifies the dishwashing process and is a convenient addition to any kitchen. Dishwashers are widely used in homes, restaurants , and other food service establishments.

How it works:
- Loading: The customer places dirty dishes, glasses, and other items in the dishwasher's racks. Items must be stacked correctly to ensure proper cleaning and to prevent clogging of the water spray arms.
- Detergent and rinse aid: Dishwashing detergent and rinse aid are added to the appropriate compartments of the dishwasher. Detergent helps remove food particles and stains, while rinse aid aids in the drying process, prevents water spots, and improves the drying process.
- Water supply: The dishwasher is connected to the kitchen water supply. When a cycle starts, the dishwasher fills with water from the water supply line.
- Heating: Some dishwashers have built-in water heaters to heat the water to the optimal temperature for cleaning, typically around 120-140 degrees Fahrenheit (49-60 degrees Celsius).
- Wash cycle: The dishwasher pump circulates water through spray arms located at the bottom and top of the appliance. The spray arms release pressurized water onto the dishes, effectively removing food residue and grease.
- Drainage: After the wash cycle is complete, dirty water exits the dishwasher through a special pipe.
- Rinse cycle: Water enters for the rinse cycle to wash away any remaining detergent and residue.
- Drying: Depending on the model of dishwasher, the drying process can be accomplished in different ways. Some dishwashers use heating elements to dry the dishes, while others may use a fan to circulate warm air. Rinse aid can also help with the drying process.
- Finish: Once the drying process is complete, the dishwasher cycle is complete and the dishes are ready to be unloaded.

Using a dishwasher can save time and water compared to washing by hand, especially when dealing with larger quantities of dishes. However, it is essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions for loading, detergent use, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend the life of your dishwasher.
