Different types of stairs for your home
A ladder, it is a piece of equipment consisting of repeated bars or steps (rungs) on two upright lengths of metal, wood, or rope, used to ascend to a height... So why are there so many different types of ladders?
Different types of stairs have different functions for different occasions.
Understanding the different types of ladders and their functions will allow you to make an informed decision, which will then allow you to perform your work more efficiently and safely. Below are some types of ladders and their uses.

Stepped stairs
This ladder is the most versatile. What makes this ladder special is that it can be used anywhere. This is because this ladder can stand on its own, meaning that it does not need any kind of support. As a result, this ladder can be used in the middle of a room or in places where something to lean on is not available.
There are two main types of step ladders - a front-step ladder and a two-step ladder.
Front Step Ladder - On this ladder, you will find steps on one side of the ladder, while the other side is only for support and is not used for climbing.
Two-step ladder - This ladder is much more popular because it provides steps on both sides of the ladder, allowing you to climb whichever side is more convenient for you.
Platform stairs
A platform ladder is a front-step ladder with the top step being a platform (flat).
Typically, there are rails around the platform to ensure safety while working. This ladder is great if you want to be comfortable while standing on the ladder for long periods of time.
A platform ladder prevents your feet from getting sore and burning. This ladder is recommended if you need to use both hands to work, or if you need to rotate while working. Using a platform ladder allows you to do this in all directions without causing an accident.

Extension (folding) stairs
This ladder has two parts, a base and an extension. The base should always be firmly placed on the ground, while the extension can be extended upwards to allow the extension to reach higher places.
