Drills, an assistant to your work
A drill is indispensable for improving tools and for all kinds of work around the house. You can use it to drill small or large holes for DIY projects, to improve. You can use it to drive screws directly into wood.
While a drill is a valuable tool for getting work done quickly, its power can also lead to poor holes, broken or misaligned pieces, and even serious injury to the user. But when used correctly, a drill can help you complete your tasks faster.

Corded drill vs cordless drill
The drill is available on the market in both cordless and corded versions.
A corded power drill offers reliability and durability at the cost of being permanently tied to an electrical cord. Cordless drills, powered by onboard, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, help free users from the hassle of a power cord. However, battery packs are expensive and often prone to failure.
Choose a power drill based on your needs and capabilities. If you only need a power drill for light jobs, such as hanging shelves or installing a bathroom mirror, an inexpensive, lightweight 8- to 10-volt cordless drill will suffice.
For mid-range electric drilling jobs, such as hanging drywall sheets, an 18-volt cordless model will do the job.
If you need to do work all day, then purchasing a 20-volt cordless drill or a corded power drill would be ideal.

Security:
Drills can be dangerous if used incorrectly. Always wear eye protection when using a power drill of any power, whether drilling holes or driving bits. Also wear hearing protection.
While a drill doesn't reach the 100+ decibels of louder tools like circular saws, their average 65 decibels can damage a user's hearing over time.
Drills can also potentially strain or break your wrist or hand when they rotate uncontrollably. This happens when the force of the drill's rotation exceeds the opposing force you apply with your hand. An additional handle is especially helpful for securing the tool. If your drill doesn't have an auxiliary handle, hold the bottom of the drill handle with your free hand to prevent rotation.
