What is a tire pressure gauge used for?
A tire pressure gauge, or tire pressure gauge, is a pressure gauge used to measure the pressure of the tires on a vehicle. Because tires are rated for a specific load at a certain pressure, it is important to maintain tire pressure at an optimal level.
If you have a car, you probably own one of those pen-sized tire pressure gauges. It has a little spherical thing on one end and a little sliding scale on the other end.
Why should you buy a tire pressure gauge?
Overinflating your tires can have a negative impact on their performance. Overinflated tires appear flatter, which means they have increased surface contact with the road.
If you drive your car for a long time, this contact can cause premature tire wear. Road contact is usually increased in the center of the tire when it is overinflated, causing additional wear in the center. If you notice that the sides or outer parts of your car's tires are less worn than the center, chances are they are overinflated. Insufficient pressure also directly affects your car's fuel economy.

What can cause underinflated car tires?
Keeping your car's tires properly inflated is a simple maintenance task that is vital to your safety. Underinflated tires build up excess heat while driving, which can lead to tire failure. With air pressure that is too low, tires can wear faster and unevenly, waste fuel, and negatively affect your car's braking and handling.
To keep your tires in top condition, use a tire pressure gauge to check your tire pressure at least once a month and before any long road trips. For an accurate reading, make sure your vehicle has been parked for three or more hours before checking your tire pressure.
