What is an inhaler?
An inhaler is a solution for colds and allergies. An inhaler is used for acute respiratory infections, viral infections, and bronchitis.
An inhaler is a device that delivers medicine directly into a person's lungs. The medicine is a mist or spray that a person breathes in. Unlike pills or liquids that are swallowed, an inhaler delivers the medicine directly into the lungs. This helps people with asthma because the medicine quickly opens up narrowed airways.

What kind of inhaler should you buy for yourself and your family?
- Steam inhaler - the most effective for the treatment of nasopharyngeal pathologies. Such a device is not recommended for the treatment of the lower respiratory tract, since very large particles of steam cannot reach the site of inflammation. The most modern and effective type of device is a mesh nebulizer. Due to the high frequency of ultrasonic waves, they break the medication into small particles, as a result of which they easily reach any part of the respiratory system. Such an inhaler is indispensable for restoring the respiratory system while traveling and in the postoperative period.
- Compressor-type inhaler - used for lung diseases, tuberculosis, and bronchial asthma, in both children and adults.
- Ultrasonic inhaler - best for small patients.
What are the different types of inhalers?
The main types of inhaler devices are metered dose inhalers and dry powder inhalers.
Metered dose inhalers:- Metered dose inhalers are also called MDIs or aerosol inhalers.
- The medicine is placed in a small container, a plastic box. When you press the inhaler, a measured dose of medicine is released into the mouth.
- Because using an inhaler correctly can be difficult, spacer devices are recommended for use with MDIs. A spacer is attached to the MDI to make it easier to use the inhaler and deliver more medication to the lungs.

Dry powder inhalers:
- Dry powder inhalers are handheld devices that deliver medication to your lungs and airways when you breathe it in.
- Examples of dry powder inhalers include:
Turbuhaler
Aquahaler
Handihaler
Ellipta inhaler
Breezhaler
