Feed your children easily with the help of a high chair
A high chair is a great helper for parents who have small children and are concerned about their mealtimes. Over time, as the child grows, a high chair significantly simplifies the feeding process.
The child will not be able to easily get out of the chair, so the parent can temporarily take care of other things while the child is in the child's chair.

How to use a high chair safely
As with anything that involves your little one, safety is vital. Fortunately, using a high chair safely is relatively easy if you keep the following in mind:
- Choose a children's chair that is sturdy and stable.
- Use the high chair on a flat, hard surface and always secure your child with the provided harness.
- Check the leg locking mechanism to make sure the legs are locked in place to prevent the highchair from falling over.
- Never leave your child unattended in a high chair. Before you strap them in, gather baby food, utensils, a spoon, wipes, and anything else you'll need during mealtime so you have everything within reach and don't have to leave your child unattended while you grab something.
- Place the chair close enough to the table so that your child feels like they are part of the action, but not so close that they can reach knives, plates, hot food and drinks, or other dangerous items on the table. You should also avoid placing the chair near tables, walls, or other surfaces that your child could knock over or knock over.

When to start using a high chair
How do you know when to start using a high chair and how long should your child stay in a high chair? Some high chairs, like the 4moms Connect High Chair, can fully recline so they’re safe for newborns to use. While young babies shouldn’t eat in the high chair, it does allow you to bring your little one along for the family dinner. Just make sure to strap your child in with a 3- or 5-point harness and secure the headrest so that your child is positioned properly.
When it comes to when to start using a high chair for feeding, the answer is simple! Once your baby can sit up without support and can hold their head up straight – which is usually somewhere between four and six months – you can start transitioning to an upright chair.
Move the Connect High Chair from the reclined position to the fully upright position. Continue to use the seat cushion and make sure you are using the 5-point harness to hold your child securely.
