How to use a power strip safely
A jump starter is a type of electrical cable used to connect two car batteries, allowing electrical power to be transferred from one vehicle to another. This is usually done to jump-start a vehicle with a dead or weak battery. The process involves connecting the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the healthy vehicle's battery to the corresponding terminals of the dead vehicle's battery.

Basic guide on how to use a clamp extender:
1. Find another car with a fully charged battery. Make sure both cars are turned off.
2. Position the machines: Park the two machines close enough for the terminal block to reach, but not touching. Make sure the machines are not in direct contact.
3. Identify the battery terminals:
- Positive terminal (+): usually marked with + or red.
- Negative terminal (-): usually marked with - or black.
4. Connect the terminal extension:
- Step 1: Connect one end of the red (positive) cable to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Step 2: Connect the other end of the red cable to the positive terminal of the charged battery.
- Step 3: Connect one end of the black (negative) cable to the negative terminal of the charged battery .
- Step 4: Connect the other end of the black cable to the car's ignition switch. On an unpainted metal surface. This could be a bolt, but avoid the battery.
5. Drive the car: Start the car with a charged battery and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, try starting the car while it is stationary.
6. Remove the terminal block: Remove the terminal block in the reverse order in which they were connected. Start with the black cable on the dead battery , then the black cable on the charged battery , followed by the red cable.
It is essential to follow these steps carefully to avoid electric shock and damage to the vehicle's electrical systems. If you are unsure of the process or encounter any problems, it is recommended that you seek help from a professional or someone with experience.
