The TP-Link Tapo A200 does not store energy itself, but is designed to continuously charge Tapo battery-powered cameras. It does not contain an internal battery and does not store energy independently.

The Tapo A200 can deliver a maximum charging power of 4.5 watts, which is enough for continuous operation of Tapo battery-powered cameras. Under standard environmental conditions (1000W/m² sunlight, 25°C temperature), only 30 minutes of sunlight per day is enough to fully charge the cameras and keep them working continuously.

It is important to note that the Tapo A200 works with each camera individually and cannot charge more than one camera at a time.

The Tapo A200 does not have an internal battery, so at night or in the absence of sunlight, the camera's operation depends on its internal battery. Therefore, for the camera to work continuously, it needs to receive sufficient sunlight during the day.
