Arcelik managers agreed that each factory should specialize in producing one type of product. In this regard, construction of a number of factories began in 1977.

A little later, Arcelik, together with the Turkish Demir Dokum, created the company Ardem, which is engaged in the production of heaters and stoves. In 1979, a vacuum cleaner factory was opened in Izmir. The expansion of Arcelik's product range continued until 1996. During this period, two more factories were built - for the production of dishwashers and air conditioners.
